Two forms of play, two models

Shuffleboard comes in two forms. On a court, players push pucks with a cue along a lane on the floor. At a table, the pucks glide by hand across a long playing surface. Both forms need no practice and work well for groups.

OpenBowling treats courts like lanes: a group states its number of people and occupies one or several courts depending on its size. Shuffleboard tables work like billiard tables: the table is booked for a period of time, without a number of people.
